Sacred Vastu uses cookies and similar browser technologies. This page explains the technologies currently used by the website and their purposes. Some of the technologies below are browser local-storage entries rather than cookies.
| Technology / identifier | Type | Purpose | Current use |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHP session | Server session / session cookie | Maintains the PHP session and supports security functions such as the CSRF token. | Website operation and security. |
jsEnabled | Local storage | Records that JavaScript has previously been enabled in the browser. | Website behaviour. |
visitCount | Local storage | Counts successive visits from the same browser. | Website telemetry. |
deviceId | Local storage | Random persistent browser/device identifier used to recognise recurring devices for security and abuse-prevention telemetry. | Security/abuse prevention and telemetry. |
ipAddress | First-party cookie | Stores the public IP address obtained by the browser for a limited period so it can be included with website telemetry. | Security/telemetry; current script sets it for 7 days. |
| Google Analytics 4 | Third-party analytics technology | Measures website usage and helps understand and improve the site. | Loaded through Google's gtag.js service. |
| Google Forms | Third-party embedded service | Provides the vendor form embedded on the website. | Loaded when the vendor form is displayed. |
In addition to the technologies listed above, the website records session and interaction information such as page-open duration, visible/hidden time, visibility changes, resumes, mouse movement counts, clicks, scroll depth, key-press counts, copy/cut/paste attempts, right-click counts and interaction timing.
The website also records browser/device information such as user agent, language, time zone, platform, screen resolution, touch capability, orientation, device pixel ratio, viewport size, device type, hardware concurrency, device memory where available, cookie status and Do Not Track information.
Some versions of the site's telemetry use browser/window signals as heuristic indicators for unusual behaviour, including window blur/focus and browser-window geometry. These signals are used as technical/security indicators. They are not proof that a visitor has opened developer tools or committed misuse.
The website records form-interaction information to understand form completion and technical behaviour. Depending on the form, this can include field names, field types, focus/change/blur/clear/submit events, completion information and applicable field values. Password and file-input values are excluded from the form telemetry described in the site code.
The website can obtain the visitor's public IP address and, on relevant pages, store it temporarily in the first-party ipAddress cookie for 7 days. The IP address can also be available to the server as part of a normal web request.
The website currently loads Google Analytics 4 using measurement ID G-4DY2QDB9V2. Google Analytics is a third-party analytics service. Information sent to or processed by Google is subject to Google's own service terms and privacy documentation.
You can control or clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking or clearing them can affect some website functions, session/security features, telemetry continuity and third-party embedded services.
Because the website uses several different technologies for different purposes, blocking one category in the browser does not necessarily stop every other browser request or server-side record.
A technology is not treated as necessary merely because the website owner would prefer to keep it. The purpose of each technology is considered separately. Security, website operation, analytics, diagnostics and other uses can have different requirements under applicable law.
This page may be updated when the website adds, removes or changes cookies, local-storage entries, analytics services or other similar technologies.
